It goes without saying that one of the primary objectives of the data protection authority is to assist companies of all sizes in achieving compliance GDPR. Following a year marked by an explosive increase in the number of complaints (14,143 complaints in 2021), the CNIL (National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties) has decided to adopt a renewed support policy and to continue pursuing a strategy of “collaborative and hands-on regulation” with businesses.
