The British are distancing themselves from the GDPR
This marks the end of "unnecessary" administrative formalities. The General Data Protection Regulation in the UK is set to be replaced by a less burdensome system. The UK Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport, Michelle Donelan, has stated that thanks to the new system, businesses will no longer be shackled by administrative formalities, which she described as "unnecessary." The UK data protection system will not only be simpler and clearer, but also more suited to both businesses and consumers.
